Since I'm back at uni and have got very little time to actually photograph anything new, here's another old one that was sitting around on my computer. The lighting was very odd in the original so I desaturated the background and changed the eye colour as it was looking rather brown - my eyes are blue. Anyhow, I was playing around with the colours and came across this combination which really reminded me of an opal. So there you go! Another mindless stereotypical shot!!

Stereotypical? Not quite...since the composition is not soooo usual...I like how the eye is somehow set in one corner...looking out of it...a little shy and a little surprised...and what you did with the colors is amazing...you are right, it looks somehow like an opal...wonderful...as always a great photo...
